About our guides:

We make great, interactive travel guides.
To make our guides we use the content that is freely available. Open content sites like Wikitravel, Wikipedia, World66 and Openstreetmap are among the best resources for any traveler. Our mission is to make that content relevant for you. So we mix and mash and annotate - and we distill great, relevant travel guides out of it.

We like open content. In fact some of us were involved in World66, one of the first open content travel guides on the web. Triposos travel guides are very much a re-mix of open content out there.

Currently were using content from: Wikipedia, Wikitravel, World66, Open Streetmaps, DMOZ and Chefmoz

Were big fans of these projects. If you stumble across some inaccurate information in this guide, we would appreciate it if you correct it on the web site of these projects.

Pros and cons of South Korea Travel Guide by Triposo app for iPhone and iPad

South Korea Travel Guide by Triposo app good for

Very good and useful application. I learn a lot about the cultures and best places to go. The application give true and good advice. Definitely the best application to use in South Korea. Moreover you can use it offline so its very convenient
This was a fantastic app to use while in Korea. The best thing is that it works offline, so when you dont have wifi you still have access to everything!
I really enjoy this app. It is easy to read and contains great info. I really liked the offline capability.
It is a very useful app, there are maps that do not need internet connection and are very useful. This app helped me many times when traveling to South Korea!
GPS worked perfectly even without internet connection (other maps were glitching until connected to internet). Map is correct! Some places have lack of info (which subway station is near, what is the working hours), but most of the places have full info
If youre traveling to South Korea, this app provides everything you need, and more. Unlike other apps, which charge you to unlock "bonus" features, this app comes provided with all the essential phrases youll need to survive, free of charge. It also provides you a detailed map of the country thats located many of the points of interests for you, as well as suggesting a lot of useful places like hotels, restaurants, hospitals, banks, and shopping centers. Subway routes are color coded and listed clearly for hassle free traveling. My traveling experience would have been very unpleasant without the help of this guide, so I owe my thanks to the developers for creating such a useful app.

Some bad moments

Worthless in every respect. Why bother even publishing trash like this if its going to be so completely bereft of redeeming features? The maps are useless, the editorial is useless: this ap is a waste of disk space.
Works offline, the info here supplements what you may have read from other travel sites. Theres a helpful section on Korean pronunciation an useful phrases. I used the app mainly for this and to find descriptions of places I already wanted to go to. Although theres a map, theres no info on how to get to a certain place via public transpo, for that I referenced another app. Overall nice description of places and backgrounds, but if youre a first time tourist in Korea you would need information from other sources to plan your trip.
I really have enjoyed using this app. It even has a phrase book and pronounciation guide.
Theres lots of info and interesting reads. Though I wish theres more info on busan.
Actually I didnt know this app until I got commercial of iPad air. It helps us to have a trip with easy way without internet
I have used this app twice now and absolutely love it. I wasnt sure what I wanted to do one weekend opened the app and found something close to me and decided to go. The places that are on here (at least the attractions I havent checked any hotels or restaurants recommended) seem relevant so far. The only downside is that some pictures arent posted of the locations so you have to either go without an idea (which is fine) of what you are getting into. Also some of the descriptions are vague but its a great place to start to find places to go.
